Ms. Whitney mother of 4yr old twins Tia Brady & Monica Brady attended Ready Set Go Childcare center since the age 6 months, the Ms. Whitney loved the childcare center & its staff members they were affordable, friendly & consistently retained the same high quality staff members so she thought. During the twins 3rd year of attending the childcare center Mr. Daley the director & owner of the daycare center started an internship program with the local vocational -tech high school the program seemed successful Ms. Daley even hired some of the interns once they received their CDA it seemed to be a great partnership for Ms. Daley. Initially the staff member got away with her actions because the father didn’t acknowledge the first picture he received because he ignored her text however the staff member took it a step further & decided to DM (direct message) the twins father on Instagram with pictures of his twins during instruction time although the gesture was innocent the twins father was very upset & he blew a gasket, furthermore not only did he confront the assistant teacher he also confronted the twins mother and proceeded to interrogate her on the choices she made as mother & he continued to question her on why would she enroll their children in such a poor quality childcare center. That evening the twin’s mother contacted MS. Daley & let her know that it was imperative that she meets with her the next …show more content…
Daley findings were unnerving because she felt like her own trainee wasn’t trained properly however the Intern/new hire was one of her star students from the program she looked forward to mentoring her & showing her the ropes to make & be successful in the childcare industry however it came to a halt due to a careless half hazard incident, however during the internship Ms. Daley constantly reminded the workers of her no cellphone policy & she constantly enforced the importance of confidentiality due to HIPAA & the child protection law acts. What really bothered Ms. Daley is that the childcare center had an incident prior to the incident with the newly hired staff member taking pictures of the twins where the child came to the childcare center via DHS & the father wasn’t allowed to be in contact with the children or their mother due to their safety being in jeopardy, the 8 year old sent a picture of them in the childcare centers play area & sent it to his father he was able to locate them furthermore the cops had to be called to deescalate the situation & the children had to relocate to a new childcare
