(a) Customer Relationship Management

The meaning of customer relationship management is that it is the wishes of the company to maintain a good relationship with their customers in terms of the business success of the organization. The main intention of the customer relationship management in an organization is the customers retaining and the sales growth improvement. In terms of obtaining the details of the customers the organization used to various communication channels (Lynn, 2011).

Selling concept:-In this concept it is focused product selling and short-term customer relationship is maintained.

Social marketing:-In this concept it is focused towards requirements of the society at present and in future (Levens, 2012).

The “marketing concept” is better for Harley-Davidson because as per the nature of the Harley-Davidson it will be better for sustaining long-term customer relationship. The motto of Harley-Davidson is to satisfy their customers with right product. Harley-Davidson is giving more importance towards the targeted market concept and building the motorcycles as per the requirements of the customers.

In terms of Harley-Davidson, the concentrated marketing strategy is the best strategy because the Harley-Davidson gives importance on their product. Actually, the Harley-Davidson giving more priority towards the integrity; brand image; and customer satisfaction while manufacturing their motorcycles. The “market targeting” concept is implemented by Harley-Davidson in terms of increasing the customer volume for purchase of their motorcycles and spread the features of their motorcycles to the customers.
