Candidate Jansen’s order was lacking. He did not specifically cover execution or admin and logistics. During the execution paragraph, he only briefed scheme of maneuver. SNC did not take the time to come up with a thought out scheme of maneuver before issuing his order and he winged it without doing a proper assessment. However, once SNC’s fire team began execution he quickly adapted his plan when it appeared it was not working. SNC showed innovation by utilizing a canteen tied to the rope in order to get the rope around the metal structure above. SNC addressed security during the execution and he ensured that security was doing his job during the course of the event. SNC was clearly in charge during the mission and he was in control
