Proposed Location
Hopeful Photography proposed location need to represent the edgy urban chic feel of the company brand. Our location area would be in downtown Tulsa. Our company studio space requirement would be an open industrial retail space that is at least 2000 square feet. Space needs to have an abundant amount of natural light for studio sessions. The studio surrounding location is as important as the studio itself. The studio location must be in a convenient location that is easily accessible from Tulsa's main highways. The studio location must also be in walking distance from unique city backgrounds that can be used in a photo session. Our professional Prints will be outsourced to Picture Plus, which is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They deliver amazing high-end professional prints in many different paper textures for a low overhead cost. The remainder of products will be outsourced through National Photo Lab which is located in Baltimore, Maryland. National Photo Lab offers every printing service that Hopeful Photography Studio sells. Their business turnover is three days long to fully complete a printing project. Paid professional maintenance of Hopeful Photography Studio such as landscaping, and professional cleaning will not be need because our studio is located in urban setting that does not have landscaping needs and the cleaning of the studio will be the responsibility of the studio staff. Photography, computer equipment, building and photography prop repairs will be budgeted each month at $200. Remodeling Cost of our downtown studio location will be 30,000 dollars. The cost of remodeling would cover exterior building painting, implementing the new design of the new floor plan to create a waiting space, changing room, prop storage, four shooting area, and editing and production room, and formal office.
Legal Environment
The use of all Hopeful Photography Studios photography will be retail photography that is commissioned or purchased for personal use. All photography, graphic designs, or marketing material will be owned by Hopeful Photography. Unless the owner has contractually transferred ownership, Hopeful Photography becomes the owner of all photographic property when the image is created. Licensing this property for specific uses is how your business generates gross income. Copyright is the legal bedrock upon which your photography business is built.
