Hi Emily
It was very interesting reading your response to both questions. I particularly like the response you gave to the first question. In every relationship involves two or more parties. For peaceful coexistence amongst these parties, there should be that mutual respect and understanding towards each other. The relationship that should exist between stakeholders and health care organization should be a mutual one based on principles, values and honesty that will go a long way to achieve success for all parties involved. I like the fact that you used the term symbiotic to describe that kind of relationship that should exist amongst stakeholders and healthcare organization. This symbiotic relationship provides a balance that can only be achieved by working together in peace, harmony and respect. Thanks for the examples you also used to delineate your points.

Great post Jamie. I especially like that you mentioned that no matter what race, ethnicity, or sexual preference each client is an individual who views their world through their own eyes. Moreover, a hundred people can experience the same crisis and each person views and handles that crisis differently depending upon their individual experiences. One way to build a relationship with a client who is different from you would be to explain that all individuals and families experience life stressors (Gladding, 2015). Additionally, a life stressor experienced at age twenty could affect a client at age forty-five much differently.…
