Thank you for your response Jerry. For many, the distress comes from trying to make the target cross sells that is required to maintain employment. This include cross selling while the caller is in distress, which is difficult for most of us. One approach to resolve the issue is to make the demands more reasonable. A signal that there is an issue is the rise of employees having the need for the use of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA). Several have told me they are now medication due to the stress.
