I manage, supervise, and develop procurement for approximately 60+ assets (part numbers) including 8 fracture critical which consist of 1500+ individual parts for the F110 Engine Requirements. I determine acquisition actions to initiate, amend or cancel procurement, execute repair or dispose of excess. Determine & evaluate F110 Engine requirements through Asset Reconciliations, Factor printouts, FMS Supportability Analysis, Buy/Repair Analysis and MICAP/Backorder Analysis to forecast strategic short & long term supply chain strategies for $60+ million inventory. Apply purchase request processing system knowledge to process new procurement request valued $1M+ over the last fiscal yr. Research and maintain long-term Gear Contracts. Analyze contract amendments for error in cost and change of quantities that are not within PR range, which would alter procurement data. After the contract is awarded, I track first articles, assets shipped-received and contracts in place while seeing the contract through the entire procurement process. Ability to analyze contracting issues and determine a course of action. Utilize multiple contracting systems which include PRPS, CRMS, COPA, CIDS and ACPS. Monitor contract award dates, determine quoted delivery dates and analyze the PLT and the ALT of the contract. Assist in coordination with technical representatives, contractors within the government and other organizations. Obtain necessary info, documents and resolve conflicts which arise, such as error in deliveries and processing first articles. Assist in Coordinating inspections on first article material to make sure contractor material is up to military standards. Manage items with difficult supply and demand patterns related to seasonal factors, program changes, changes in end-use applications, and similar elements. Participate in meetings concerning material support, timing, locations, and related inventory requirements. Conduct special supply and demand studies and advise on procedures to be followed to determine requirements. Direct, guide, and review material support programs, functions, and actions implemented by others. Ability to coordinate and evaluate planned and unplanned F110 engine requirements, adjust plans, forecast and schedules for the actions needed in providing logistical support for feasibility and efficiency into the overall program, as well as funds required. Plan, provision, determine accountability, and the ultimate issue for consumption, retention, or disposal. Identify potential support problems and coordinate inspections on design deficiencies, which would prevent support for the Warfighter Jets. Coordinate and integrate numerous activities and functions into an overall efficient and effective support effort.
