Baker et al., (2009) performed a study on INR goal Attainment and Oral Anticoagulation Knowledge of patients Enrolled in an Anticoagulation Clinic in a Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This study was conducted by assessing the relationship between INR control and anticoagulation knowledge using AKK questionnaire. Although the questionnaire was previously validated, was not sufficiently sensitive in detecting clinically important Warfarin knowledge. The frequently missed questions indicated potential areas for improvement in patient education and this study concluded that re-evaluation of current educational techniques is underway for identification of areas where improvements may be
