Input explains the environment of the organization, its resources, and history of the company. Biometra is a relatively young company, that is part of the SciMat group, and focuses on manufacturing of composite catheters. It operates in the tightly regulated environment and the company depends on its decisions on the parent company’s management. Biometra has access to the research and development material of the parent company in the area of composite materials. It allows the company to produce an innovative product and gives a competitive edge. Currently, Biometra is a huge disadvantage due to the departure of the former management team.
