The patient is a 71-year-old female who presented to the ED after a two-week history of palpitations, on and off related to some stress. She was seen by a psychiatrist on the outside placed on Ativan 1 mg 3 times a day, however despite of the medication she continued to have palpitations, pressure on her chest she was unable to tolerate the pressure and palpitations therefore she presented to the ED. In the emergency room EKG was remarkable. Troponins were unremarkable. However she continued to have pressure. She had no cough or wheezing. A chest x-ray was ordered which revealed a right lung mass in the right upper lobe. CT was performed which revealed a right lung mass. It had characteristics of malignancy. She was admitted inpatient
