Case 8-3 Analysis

Jenny came bounding down the steps and turned on Jenny’s T.V. to watch Jenny’s favorite movie. Jenny had finished all of Jenny’s school work, was all alone, and was getting ready to settle down on the couch, eat popcorn and of course fall asleep during the movie. Little did Jenny know; however, danger lurked only a few feet away outside of his house!! Just then Jenny thought that they heard a sound at the window opposite the T.V. in Jenny’s living room, but Jenny was so intent on getting their popcorn that Jenny didn’t really think too much about the noise. Jenny heard the noise again. This time the noise was a little louder, and the noise sounded like tapping, and the noise was slow. The noise stopped, and Jenny looked toward the window.

Explanation The cost of buying and operating EVs and HEVs can be attributed to two main contributors: the initial cost of purchase and the driving cost. The initial cost is the price of the vehicle which, in case of EVs, depends heavily on the price of batteries (Nykvist and Nilsson). The driving cost is the expenses required to keep the vehicle operational, such as maintenance, fuel, and spare part cost. Because these factors vary depending on the type of vehicle, a comparison that accounts for all of these criteria is needed to show the total life cycle cost (LCC) of each type of transport.…

Facts: The appellant, John Sansregret and the complainant lived together for about a year. Their relationship had been violent: “slapping” or “roughing up” in his description and, “blows” in hers. Sansregret broke into the complainant’s home on September 23, 1982, few days after the complainant ended relationship with him. He stormed at her and terrorized her with a file-like object. With the case of Kim v. Son the document that Stephen Son made at the sushi restaurant over drinks by using his own blood to compose the document lacks consideration. For the document to have consideration Stephen Son and Jinsoo Kim needed to produce a document that had a valid exchange between the two parties. Consideration is composed of two basic elements, value and exchange which decide whether the consideration is valid or not (Beatty & Samuelson, 2013). To have value, both parties must get something of value from the contract that is able to be measured (Beatty & Samuelson, 2013).…

Accordingly, Chris and Alison started a new company under Alison’s maiden name to help staff the employees. However, this quickly geared out of proportion when the couple kept sending invoices, even after months of not recruiting or staffing employees.…
