This will be the trip of a lifetime.” Travis had already packed his bags and was off on his journey to Carlsbad caverns national park. “Hey where are you going?” said a mysterious voice. Travis responded, “I’m on my way to Carlsbad caverns national park.” Right after he said that he never heard a response. Travis was on his way looking around for his friends David and Marcus. “ Whats going on?” “ This is the whole reason I was coming in contact you. The reason I was contacting you was to tell you that a great evil is rising up and will consume everything.” “Well what does that have to do with me?” Said Travis. “ It is because you are the chosen one for this job Travis.” Then out of nowhere there were some people rising up out of the ground and they said, “ Where is the hero. It took a while, but when he got back, he hurried and locked the doors and went downstairs hoping that they wouldn’t be able to find him down there. He was deciding if he should go up and see who it is but at that moment the basement door swung open. “ We know you’re here now give yourself away. There is no escape.” Travis doesn’t know what he should do and they slowly creep closer and closer to him. Then he

A memorial filled publication, volume 62 of the Cleve-O-Grotto news contains an ode to caving by Stephanie Lyons, as well as tributes to both Warner’s Broken Dome Cave, and John Ludwigson. In respect to Warner’s Broken Dome Cave, Dean Wilder recounted a late 1960’s trip to cave, the narrative of which is accompanied by a series of nice images. These images are believed to be the only remaining pictures of the cave still in existence, as the entrance of the cave was unfortunately bulldozed closed by property owners in 1992. The destruction of such pristine caving environments should serve as a reminder to cavers everywhere the importance of both respecting landowner’s wishes, and preserving positive landowner relations.
