My career of choice would be a analysis for the research and development department to a company on quality control. I would be responsible for researching, collecting, and analysing information for the best possible strategic plan and implement that plan. The position would require knowledge of networking to many different functionality of productions to maintain quality control for cost efficient.
Review a job description through a job website (e.g., Career Builder, Monster, etc.) in your desired career field and identify at least five skills you have obtained through your general education courses that will make you successful at this job.
The skills required for a research developer analysis is strong mathematical, communication, critical-thinking skills, flexibility, and research capabilities. My general education courses have give me a foundation to build skills needed for a future career; because, they have created an opportunity for me to identify areas of needed improvement that would broaden my future. Attitude has been developed from my general education course through understanding my present role and future as a global citizen. It has been tested and validated by other students based on integrity, honesty, and willingness. I will be able to carry these attribute into my personal and professional life. For example, today I am willing to work on developing an approach to conflict, risks, and errors with an humble attitude. Open-mindedness allows me to identify with my own rights and wrongs through identification of other culture, beliefs, norms, and values. The open-mindedness create an unbias judgement.
