Cardiovascular disease or CVD is one of the leading causes of death in Australia. CVD refers to the diseases involving the heart and blood vessels. In 2016, 43,963 deaths were attributed to CVD. The main types of cardiovascular diseases are coronary heart disease, stroke and heart failure. An easy way to test if someone has stroke is the F.A.S.T test. Check their face if their mouth has drooped, if they can lift both arms, if their speech is slurred and to report if they show any of these signs. Pests may include ants, exotic bees and giant African snails. Livestock being imported must be isolated for a period of time before they are able to be released to live freely. Examples of diseases include rabies and Foot and Mouth disease. Rabies is a deadly virus that can be spread by infected animals such as dogs, bats, coyotes and foxes. Foot and mouth disease affects sheep, cows, pigs, and goats that causes sores in the hooves and mouths of
