For each section, a 10X tile scan image was obtained and followed by image captures with 63X objective of uniformly distributed 16 positions in PL and 8 positions in the ACC of mPFC. Only projection images are shown. The fluorescent intensity was analyzed using Image J software. Three selected neurons from each 63X image, 2 positions from each region (ACC and PL) and 4 sections from each mouse brain (n=4 animals each for control and fear conditioned) were used for the analysis.
