12… Candidate Dere took a second to assess the situation before she addressed her team. When SNC issued her five paragraph order, SNC was very articulate but was also very soft and timid. No initial plan was briefed during the execution portion. As soon as the team moved towards the obstacle, SNC started to poll the team for suggestions, relying solely on them for ideas. This would open the floodgates for others to step in and make decisions or interject ideas. As the team began to make decisions, SNC slowly began to fade into the background as the fire team leader. When it came to the time for the plan to be executed, the team then looked to her for guidance on who was to climb the pole. No direction was given and SNC was hesitant
