Culture can be defined as everything within a society that is shared or learned by its members. “Culture is everything which is socially shared and learned by the members for a society.” (Farooq, Umar). Within a society you learn from one another, not everything is inherited. How you dress, what you eat, and things you read are types of things that can be learned while in a certain culture. Interacting with others create certain beliefs, traditions and values similar to another by sharing with one another. Culture is continuous and progresses daily. There is a vast expanse of wilderness full of dense trees and mountains as well as barren land. As the second largest country in the world, Canada includes a wide variety of land regions, vast maritime terrains, thousands of islands, more lakes and inland waters than any other country, and the longest coastline on the planet. In essence, Canada is a smorgasbord of landforms. Canada is a very modern country and keeps up with technological advances. They have all the necessities to self-sustain and produce any required resource. The Canadian lines of communication consist of everything the most advanced country. Powerlines span the entire country and cell phone towers are scattered across the land. The area where they are lacking is in the norther portion of the country where the Great Canadian Wilderness exists. This area is so vast and dense with trees and wildlife. Canada is mountainous on the eastern and western side of the country having both the Appalachian and the Rocky mountains passing through. Canada is an ally to the U.S. and aided in the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have never officially declared war but they have been supporting since 9/11. Canada’s military spearheaded operations and is capable of attacking and defending effectively. The Canadian military is also great at supporting domestic operations such as natural disasters to include large wild fires and ice storms.
