Comparison/Contrast Essay My life is like a camera because I focus on what's important, I capture the good times and I develop from the negatives. When capturing an image, a camera focuses on the most important thing in its field of view, the object (Toussaint, J.-P, & Smith, 2008). In the same way, I also have many things that need my attention but I deliberately choose to focus on my children, which are the most important things I have. The act of focusing on the important thing when taking a shot is like taking time off a busy routine to give attention to the things that matter to me. Since for me it is children, sometimes I just stay indoors to have some good time with them. Taking a trip with them when I am on leave or just a day out helps me go out of my routine to have new experiences with the important people in my life. They are the moments that strengthen our bonds as a family and they are priceless.

The analog camera develops final images from negatives (Toussaint, J.-P, & Smith, 2008). The film negatives don’t look attractive and have no close resemblance with the final image that comes from it. The bright colors in the image appear black in the negative while the dark colors appear white in it (Toussaint, J.-P, & Smith, 2008). Therefore, it cannot be used to tell the appearance of the image. In life, there are also negative experiences from which we can draw important lessons and develop ourselves for the better. For me, one such negative experience is still in school at these moment. I gained important lessons from the circumstances which led to me still at it. and they have helped me work harder in life and keep on my good character to be the disciplined person I am today. Just like the film negative, the mistakes I made do not truly portray what I have ended up to
