DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team has hired Hockey Hall of famer and former Boston Bruins’ president, Cam Neely, to take over the head coaching duties for the 2017 season. Neely was a 13-year professional and five-time all-star during his time in the NHL. He recently stepped down as Bruins’ president to pursue his desire to coach college hockey.

With current head coach Dick Umile retiring at the end of the upcoming season, the Wildcats needed to lock up a new coach. They are looking for Neely to bring the same leadership and intensity he brought to the Boston Bruins to get them back to national championship contention. Neely states, “This team has all the right parts to be great, I’m excited for the opportunity to coach a team with such a strong tradition of winning.”

Doctor Russel, While discretion is a mandatory component of our job, I am seeking your advice in particular because I know you to be a trustworthy man. If you haven’t heard already, Philadelphia Eagles’ star receiver Derrick Cowl was recently injured in a game against the Chicago Bears. After assessment by the team’s trainer and an orthopedic in Philadelphia, a tear of the right ACL and damage to the right medial collateral ligament and medial meniscus was confirmed. About 2 years ago I treated a similar injury sustained by a prospect receiver, Jamie Nelson, at Ohio State, which is why I assume I was referred for this case.…
