We believe our poem fits the theme of this contest because bullying is a major issue in today's society and/or culture. Bullying has caused a major uprising across the nation, especially in schools. It is malicious, aggressive, and also can be very subtle in some cases. This has not only affected lives, but it has also taken lives. It is difficult for people to understand the hardships and troubles others go through when they undergo bullying. Lack of confidence, trust issues, continuous depression, lack of socializing, and loneliness are all possible outcomes and results of bullying.
