According to JCAHO (2016), OSHA magnified the bullying problem with these reports: 21% RNs, physically assaulted, 50% RNs verbally abused in a year, 59% RN’s verbally abused in a week. At PRMC, employees are encouraged to report bullying anonymously without fear of retaliation. Furthermore, employees are required to complete the education on dealing with diversity and effective communication techniques. Peer review is also a measure to promote accountability and collegiate atmosphere at PRMC.
