"So many people think that bullying is just a [part of life]," Nash said. "[But] kids have feelings too. And so that's what we try to do is help them channel and be able to discuss and find a solution that works for them."
The goal of the program is to help kids learn to deal with bullying at a young age. The program teaches that bullying is common. It also explains that retaliation against bullies is not a solution. Often, Nash says, attempts to get even result in more violence. That solves nothing.
