Courier Service
The training we offer includes First Aid training and we are currently in the early days of setting up a ‘Shop’ which will give clients the option of buying various items of equipment including First Aid kits. These come in many variations in order to suit the needs of the client and their workplace. These orders will then need to be sent to the client. This has led to discussions of possibly using a courier service to deliver these items, especially larger items such as manikins, to ensure they will be delivered promptly, efficiently and carefully without causing any damage and as cost effective as possible.
As a company, we also place orders for equipment and resources which are delivered to us by courier which we then must sign for.

On occasions the 2 way radio has been used if members of staff are in different areas and they need to communicate. This also saves precious time trying to locate where certain members of staff may be.
We have also implemented a further, similar option utilising our previous telephone system which we are we no longer using. We have placed the four handsets around the premises: one in the main office, one in the Simulation Centre and one in each of the training rooms. This enables staff to contact each other and talk discreetly, especially if there are candidates present in any of the areas. The 2 way radio would not be suitable in this situation.
Another element of the business is that we provide medical cover for Events. Some events are in remote areas over distance and the 2 way radio is helpful to communicate with other staff especially if there is an emergency. This is also a good option as mobile phone signal is not always
