I'm here today to discuss a new way that we can bring new computers in our company. I feel that the way we have been deploying PC’s in the past is too slow. I have revised a plan to speed up process and reducing the amount of time needed to deploy PC’s to our business. I will be discussing the steps and steps involved. I will be showing the timeline to complete the deployment. I will also show you the cost of deploying new computers.
I decided to use Windows 7 for many factors. Windows 7 is more stable than Windows 10 and is still being maintained by Microsoft. We can get a better deal by getting windows 7 by buying it for commercial use of 100 keys. Microsoft products are more suited for commercial needs compared to Linux or Macintosh. For my deployment method I'm going to be using Acronis true image. Has a great standing in commercial businesses. It's a little bit more expensive than some of its competition but there are less bugs in the overall image. I will burn five hard drives using Rufus for each laptop and desktop deployment method. I will be bring a quick test, by giving one branch manager a laptop and one branch manager a desktop. I will reconfigure the software and errors that arise. Then give them the device back to see if it fits their needs. When it's up to their branches specifications I will then deploy to the systems.
I will first order of the new laptops and desktops that meet their specifications. The data has been saved to the Work server. A notice has been sent to the employees to inform them as well. I will set up one laptop and
