Moving into a college dorm means sacrificing some basic kitchen or cooking essentials such as a stove, and huge refrigerator. That is when microwaves and mini fridges will save your life. Often it is thought that microwaves are for heating meals like breakfast, lunches, and dinners. Finally, someone has come up with a way to make desserts in the microwave. It is a quick and delicious dessert for those sweet taste buds that need to be activated for those staying up late last minute assignments. The go-to dessert for your late night munchies is brownie in a mug. Brownie in a mug is a simple recipe to make with using a microwave. Know that a microwavable safe mug is needed. Measuring cup are not required, tablespoon are acceptable. With the utensil of choice, measure out three tablespoons of water, whether it is bottled or filtered, and pour it into the mug. Next, measure out two tablespoons of olive oil and blend it into the mug with the other ingredients. Mix the ingredients until it comes to a smooth consistency with no clumps. Once mixed together, open the microwave then place the mug in the center of the microwave plate and close its door. Set the microwave timer to one minute and forty seconds. Carefully open the microwave door. Beware because the mug is hot to touch, take out the mug. Use the fork or toothpick to poke into the brownie and pull it out. Check if there is any brownie stuck to the fork or toothpick. If some of the brownie is stuck to the fork or toothpick, stick the mug back into the microwave and run the microwave a couple more seconds. If there was no brownie stuck on the fork or toothpick then it is ready to be consumed! Let the brownie cool down before being eaten.
