When applying Bronfenbrenner's bio-ecological approach one must explore the five levels of the environment that can influence human development, therefore, Bronfenbrenner's five development stages play an important part. When discussing Bronfenbrenner stages, we start first with the ecological system. Bronfenbrenner’s developed the ecological systems theory. A child's developments are designed by their social relationship with another individual and the world around them. Bronfenbrenner's believed that a person's development is affected by everything that they encounter in their environment. Bronfenbrenner's put student’s habitat into five different categories such as the microsystem, the mesosystem, the ecosystem, the macrosystem, and the …show more content…
Mesosystem is where a person's single microsystems has no purpose alone, they are connected and are incidental dominant upon one another. This type of interaction has as an indirect impact on the individual. An aspect of the mesosystem coupled the interactions among parents and a teacher, by a parent attending their child's open house and volunteering for a school field trip. I remember my parents always participated in school open house and participated in meeting with my teacher to make sure I was going on the correct path to college. My parents always participated in my academics and ask if I have homework to make sure I am on top of my studies. My mom would always volunteer in PTA activities and go with my class on field trips. I,m glad my mom participated in these trips because it would always make me happy that I had my mom there and so many other students were as lucky as me. This has a big impact on child's development because it shows how the microsystem is working together to help the child's development and if this is not working in the correct manner it can affect the child in a negative …show more content…
We could use the example of children who live in a third world country or the United States as an example and a child is a military child and has moved from the third world country and the United States to other places.I was lucky as a child I remember only moving from one house to another. We moved from an middle class neighbor to what is considered a wealthy neighbor.

Bronfenbrenner’s discusses different stages of a child's habitat, and each stage influences a child’s development. Lately, Bronfenbrenner renamed “bioecological systems as powering their development. Factors of a child's interaction with others has an impact in a child's development and any negative or positive changes can and have an effect on different stages in a child life.
