Bringing Your Dog

I dissagree on bringing your dog to a work place. Dogs are not meant to be locked in a tight environment all day. I think it would be a big distraction issue for a dog to be in a workplace, an unhealthy issue, and a safety concern for others. To begin, my opinion may be a lot different than others. Having a dog or any kind of pet at a work place that doesnt have the right environment isn't the best to begin with and not all people like dogs. Dogs become antsy, and they most of the time always need attention which sometimes makes people nervous. The reason being a dog could be a big distracton issue is because of the attention span, Dogs are loud and always need some kind of attention which could distract others at a work place if the dog was barking, or being attentive and looking for the attention he needs. …show more content…
Having any kind of pet in a work place could be a serious problem to others if they are allergic to the animal. From the article i read "They may bring bacteria that could get into our office kitchen and our food, or they may pread germs by licking or kissing those around them". It could cause them to get really sick and not be able to finish their work which isn't that fair to the other worker. Workers go to work to make money so they can survive so its not all that fair to the others that have to suffer from animal being in a place it shouldn't be. Lastly, I feel having a dog in a work place is a BIG safety concern to others. There is no guarrentee that all dogs are well behaved enough to be in a work space. A bad behaved dog could lash out and bite a person and possibly hurt someone really bad. Another safety issue is if the dog was running around the work place he could run into someone or something and break things which is highly unsafe to
