Brief Summary: The Most Dangerous Game By Richard Connell

Second of all, Rainsford might start hunting humans as he realizes the thrill of it. One day, Rainsford will get bored of hunting just animals and would need some other way to occupy himself. Also, General Zaroff was once like Rainsford and he said that “hunting, remember, had been [his] life” (Connell 26). Similar to Zaroff, Rainsford will eventually run out of animals to hunt and this will create conflict for him. It is in his blood to hunt animals and this will lead him to hunt humans. Rainsford having courage and pride allows him to be excited while hunting. Additionally, General Zaroff congratulated Rainsford for “‘[winning] the game’” (Connell 36). Emerging victorious from the game would have given Rainsford a boost of confidence and
