As such, it is a major gripe and or challenge of Health Care Professionals to convince new and or continuing mothers, who have adopted to the system of formula use, that breast feeding has been, it is and will always continue to be the best option.

Challenges
Maia James, Founder and President of Gimme the Good Stuff Inc., wrote in the Huffington post in 2015, “It turns out that nursing your baby is a big waste of effort because formula is just as beneficial as breastmilk. There are no long-term benefits of breastfeeding, and breast doesn’t beat the bottle, because a “new study finds benefits of breastfeeding [are] dramatically overstated.”
With a pronouncement of such nature and individuals who are eagerly awaiting confirmation or agreement with their decision of formula use, the challenge to persuade them otherwise is overwhelming.
Formula companies today, use all medium available to advertise their products. These advertisements are created so persuasive enough that mothers buy into the marketing concepts and are completely sold out to formula use.
There are advertisements that emphasize the fact that formula is quicker, it is the perfect replacement, they are cost effective and propose no threat to the baby and mother. The concepts of the advertisements cut deep into the psyche of the parents and gives them the support that they need to convince the masses that their decision to formula feed is justifiable and
