Kids these days, including myself, love to push boundaries. An example of this would be breaking dress code. Sometimes we only break it a little, like guys wearing earrings or girls wearing shorts or skirts that are just centimeters shorter than the required length. Sometimes these things are looked over, but other times kids get sent to the office, or even sent home for breaking the dress code. When the students wear uniforms, they'll become accustomed to wearing business attire. This shows good employability skills. Having uniforms also help students by preventing those who may not be able to afford many clothes from being picked on.
Wearing the uniform also helps when you wake up in the morning and you're unsure of the right outfit. A lot of times I wake up late and can't find a matching outfit immediately, but wearing a uniform would eliminate this issue. Uniforms also helps to create equality. Rich kids these days can go to school in designer clothing, and make everyone envious of them. If uniforms were put into place, besides maybe the book bags, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Although it would become monotonous, wearing a uniform boosts school spirit and makes for a positive learning environment. If a student goes out in public wearing their uniform, you can easily distinguish what school that child goes to. Uniforms also help to form a focused atmosphere. For example, kids won't be as focused on what another kid's shirt says or what kind of shoes they're wearing. Instead, since everyone would wear the same thing, the students would be more focused on
