All research regarding the relevant laws on the discrimination of person with a disability was completed using trustworthy government official web sites. The most relevant documentation found was the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, the document outline all the legislation relating to discrimination against those with an impairment and or disability One law identified relates to discrimination in a workplace. It states that it’s unlawful for an employer or purporting to act on behalf of an employer to discriminate against a person because of their disability. The law identified in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 is simply stating that it is unlawful (against the law) for the employer of a workplace or someone with the given authority, similar to the employer, to discriminate against or bully a person because they have an impairment and or …show more content…
No, I doubt there would be a legal consequence however; although there should be some tolerance with derogatory remark made by a person with disability behaviours similar to this shouldn’t be over looked No, I do not believe that this has an ethical consequence although it may be consider unethical for the individual to make a derogatory remark. I don’t think there would be a consequence for it. I may simply tell the individual that’s receiving the support that it’s wasn’t nice to say what they said.
