I thought to myself a moment , I didn’t want to tell her the real reason about my parents business so I just replied, “ My parents just wanted something different. We have traveled a lot with their jobs and they wanted to settle somewhere.” “Where all have you been?” Ayden asked, but was once more cut off , this time by Ms. Coster, “Mr. Ayden if you would please stop talking I would like to begin, thank you. Now you will have an assignment due by the end of the week” before she could tell the assignment she was interrupted by moans and groans from the class and one student even said, "But Ms.Coster it’s the first week of school!”
“And?” replied Ms.Coster, “Back to the assignment, it will be a 700 word paper on your summer, not that difficult. I understand it is the first day, so I will allow you to talk amongst yourselves for today and today only, tomorrow we begin working.” I went through all my classes, I managed to have all of them with Mia and Ayden who introduced me to new people. I believe I'm actually going to like school even though this morning I wanted to be homeschooled. I was just being over dramatic it wasn't that bad. It was actually a great day I made two friends and I believe we will have one of those friendships that will last a life

“Don’t forget, the paper is due next Wednesday!” My 8th period teacher, Mrs. Oakford told to my class and I as we streamed out of the cramped classroom on a Friday. We couldn’t wait to bust out of the schools doors and claim our prize of a short freedom for surviving another busy, exhausting, and slow week of middle school. I rushed to my locker, grabbed everything I would need for the homework due Monday, threw it in my bag and headed down the hall collecting my friends to walk to town to start what I would hope would be a slow but fun weekend off The weekend went quicker than I wished and before I knew it, it was late Sunday night and I still hadn’t done my homework, I realized this and got to work.…

Darkness consumes the room and spotlights occupy the stage. Huge pitch squeals escape the lips of overly-excited teens and reflect off of the walls of the arena vibrating within the packed crowd. Anticipation and impatience slowly fill the chamber as distant chants grow closer and louder.
