SARTRE PRESENTATIONS/SEMINARS Summary of Comments/Score. Overall, my group’s presentation was clear and we were able to convey our section to the class well without too much assistance from you. However, our written outline had a few issues. First, the outlines organization was a little cluttered and could have been cleaned up to be easier to follow. Additionally, we struggled with the rhetorical function section of the outline.…
An amazing historical Conversion Experience Artifact was discovered in an attic. It is an original book written in ink on paper. The original book was created by Aaron Lummus in the year 1850. It was made because records of some of the Principle Events needed to be recorded. People who would have read or studied this item at the time it was created were, Mr Brown, His master and His friends in Lynn, who thought that he was some kind of Bad person, or mentally challenged.…
This artifact consists of a graph demonstrating the progress of the student towards their goal and a sample reading probe. This artifact is just a sample CBM that was created based on provided data. This artifact represents my ability to create reading probes for CBM tests and properly documenting the progress of a student based on the data collected. This artifact would fit under standard #6: assessment, since it demonstrates one of the many ways that I can assess my students in the future. This assessment type also demonstrates how to monitor students’ progress which also proves how this artifact fits under this standard.…
The model that I chose is sexual orientation refers to an enduring patter of attraction behavior emotion identity and social contacts (APA2015). I chose this model because this is something I hold very close and deep in my heart. In the model it was talking about how homosexuality is a negative stereotype and it’s identifying this with our life styles. As I want to become a Bored Certified Applied Behavior Analysis I feel that this model is relevant to my development because my husband and I are huge advocates in the LGBTQ community.…

The artifact is a packet for families to take home from Early Language and Literacy Development (ECE 203R). This was the first project that I did that was for families. I did not have to send it out to families, I just had to create it. I selected this literacy packet because it was the only project I make like this. Over the semester we had focused on the language and literacy development of young children and this was one of the many projects that we had to do.…
According to both videos watched, Ira Glass and Jake Parker have similar ideas. Ira Glass’ “ On Being Creative” and Parker’s “Finished Not Perfect” both describe a starting point for, really, any artist. This can translate to personal work’s projects, the desired skill levels involved in each discipline, and the taste of each artist. This also involves a certain amount of knowledge on art history and pop culture, which helps artwork demonstrate content within the work, introducing a level of complexity and awareness.…
Writing, either hand written or typed, is being used as a tool for self-expression at any moment of the day. We all use writing to accomplish many goals, big or small. I believe my most memorable accomplishment in writing was in DECA. I had to create a business plan and presentation for a product I invented. I will further reflect on my accomplishment from the beginning process to the end.…
Preparing for this exam I got to look through my old papers. I found my first paper (“Technology’s Advancements on Today’s Society”) that I had completely forgotten about and discovered that I had a problem with technology’s effects on humanity at the beginning of the year as well. The ideas had developed in my brain without me even realizing and I ended up writing my last paper “Nature vs. Technology: The Benefits of Unplugging”. I was thoroughly interested about this and discovered that writing about a topic that you are truly interested in makes the research and writing much easier.…
The artifact that i chose was the family and community resources chart we did in ECD 205. I chose this artifact because I thought I did a good job on making this resources chart for family and giving the parents some useful resources that they can use when they are in need of some help. What I learned by making this chart was that it is important to have some kind of chart, brochure, or newsletter that you can passes out for parent who might not know about the different kinds of resources that are available to them for their children and family. Especially with families who are from a different country or don’t speak English as their first language it is important to help them and guide them in supporting their child because all parent want…
Mike Thaler was born October 8, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. As a child, Mike was always very creative, he enjoyed modeling clay, drawing pictures and writing. He drew cartoons for the school annual and for his school paper at the University of California. He drove from California to New York to begin his career drawing cartoons for adults. Until one day he was contacted by his first editor Ursula Nordstrom after she saw one of his cartoons, she reached out to him to write a children's book.…
I think John Jay should make us take this course because English class is one of the most important thing in a student's academic career. We have to make sure everyone in college are able to write a paper before they graduate. Most classes in college, don't really require the students to know how to write a essay. So I feel that taking an English course is very important. In order to pass this class, I must secure and obtain the skills I require to do so.…
However, after completing this project, I felt very accomplished because I was able to communicate my research findings through writing. I also realized that I can take advantage of this experience to communicate effectively to other members of society. For instance, I can use these writing skills to write a proper resume and cover letter that will highlight my qualifications. I can also notify other employees, supervisors and clients of my progress in a project through a progress report. I now have a much greater appreciation towards writing and I realized how writing can potentially change the way we communicate to one another in every aspect of…
