When I went through my period of depression, he supported me, but I was aware that he didn 't fully understand the cause or treatment. It wasn’t until he received training three years ago and a fellow Sailor that he considered a strong-willed individual shared his experience that he changed his mindset about the seriousness of depression.
E. Over the years, I 've interacted with many people who are mentally ill and each experience was not the same. Anyone who meets my mother wouldn 't think that she has a personality disorder. Her interactions with people who are not close to her are drastically different from our immediate family. Sometimes I feel like I 'm the child, and she 's the parent. Dealing with my mom is never easy and you never know what will happen. I 've learned over the years that I can only control my reaction to her behavior.
F. I agree with the idea that psychological disorders are a disease. An illness has a cure and most diseases are incurable. You can have a disease that you can take medicine for that will make you feel better, but when you stop taking the medicine the symptoms reappear. There 's no medication for borderline personality disorder, but therapy is recommended. You can 't cure mental illness, you can only make it easier for the person to live with the
