The book “The Book Thief” had a very good starting. When I started to read it, I was a little confused by the name of the book, but then I figured what the meaning of the book’s title. The author had introduced a couple of characters and their characteristics. I realized the major celebration in the book is celebrating Hitler’s birthday and someone would go out and steal a book then burn it. As of right now, I didn’t realize what the point of stealing books and burning them is.
