Boeing does currently sell stock to the public. They are always looking for new investors. They are a growing company and would be a great company to invest in. Boeing has merged with another lead competitor in the aerospace industry. The corporation was McDonnell-Douglas. The merger took place in 1996. It was a stock-for-stock transaction. Boeing is a multinational company. They have operations in Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Netherlands, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. Boeing has an alliance with the McDonnell-Douglas Company. They each bought part of the stock in the company so it would be more of a partnership.
