In the case of the Red House Report, the board would have preferred a deeper discussion on the criticism to determine their merit. She serves as a very strong ambassador for the organization through her involvement in activities including serving as a board member for the Chamber of Commerce. • Leah’s effective leadership brought TLL to where it is today as a $7M company partnering with school districts across many counties. Her vision, dedication and tenacity set the tone for all future management staff.
• Leah’s leadership style towards the staff accommodates time-off for doctors’ appointments etc. with a flexible work schedule. Although flexible, the workload at times never ceases. Some of the staff report that the flexibility is wonderful, but the workload continues.
• Leah was challenged this past year with a recent promotion to the leadership staff that became problematic for the organization. Leah stuggled to regain control of the situation at times and some communications became visible to other staff, such as the cancelling of monthly management team meetings.
