A study conducted by the NOAA in the Gulf of Mexico had observed the hypoxia in the area. Hypoxia is the areas in the water that is unsustainable to obtain life. The hypoxia have low 2-3%ppm dissolved oxygen in water. Caused by many factor in the Gulf of Mexico. There was two stations that observe there to gain the data needed to understand dead zones in the gulf. Station C6B 1989 to 1997 that showed a decline of in the months leading to the summer had a higher conservation in the beginning of the 1990s decade. Indicating that the dissolved oxygen is growing more diluted and least
