It is also ideal for the clinical lab to be nearby, so that the flow of orders and work is proficient. Clinical lab works closely with blood bank, therefore, the set up and staffing of each department set up and staffing of each department is also important and crucial to be efficient and successful. For example, the laboratory must have adequate space for the amount of workload; storage space must also be adequate. There must also be adequate and clearly marked areas for hazardous materials and disposal areas.
