Incidentally, both books have young characters, in a story involving horses, but the way the world is seen is changed drastically. Because of the first person perspective. We see how a young girl would see the events around her, we see how a child would assume that because this horse she admires shows what seems to be compassion for her she humanizes those actions. Though her father and the tone of the book suggest that the horse does not feel this way In conclusion this perspectives helps to develop a naive or young character. Which is a very helpful coisedens. For both sets of text, this will allow the reader to watch this character grow and learn with the world around them.
