Looking at the problem, the obvious one is population growth which will eventually effect the country’s resources. More people will be depending on the same and limited amount of resource that country has. Hence the higher amount of such births will result in exploitation of valuable resources. The other problem is that, after these babies turn twenty one, they can by law bring their other family members to the United States. We can imagine how this will boost the crime rate as many people enter the United States. And some Chinese mothers even stay in the United States after their visa expire, which is bad for the country. Officials have even found that these mothers are denying to pay hospital bills and instead buy bags and stuffs of Louis Vuitton worth seventeen thousand dollars. But some reports have shown that having anchor babies is economically beneficial for the United States both in short term as well as in long term. They believe that birth tourism have decreased the number of H1b visas that people have in United States. H1b visas are generally given to higher level professionals like doctors and engineers from other countries who work temporarily in the United States. I think there are both boons and banes of the birthright citizenship. Talking about bad part, nobody knows what type of people and family will enter the United States entertaining the guaranteed rights. It is not only Chinese people who enter the states, there are many people from other countries who can do so. And we all know the present condition of the country. People are scared of bad ones entering the country which turn out to be a national threat. Gun violence and crimes are not big news these days. So government should have a close eye on people who enter the country. Talking about the good part, it might bring exceptionally brilliant minds to the country which one day may be beneficial for us. I have a friend back in my country whose parents were denied in US visa interview a long time ago. Raj turned out to be a brilliant kid later on. He is the topper of all the national boards in my country and a great innovator. If he was here in the United States, I am pretty sure that he would be a great scholar and a great engineer for this country. Such people are getting chance to study and show their talent in United States who were given birthright citizenship even if their parents are
