The baby continues to grow and mature, developing reserves of body fat. His/her lungs are almost fully developed.
The baby’s reflexes are developed: he/she can blink, turn the head and respond to sounds, light and touch. He/she is ready to come into existence.
The baby turns around in preparation for labor and delivery. He/she moves to the pelvis, with his/her head facing the birth canal.
It measures 45-50cm in length and weighs about 3-4kg.
