1. The distribution of organisms simply means the abundance of organisms on Earth. All organisms are live in different biomes because of their characteristics of survival. Furthermore, all organisms are unique and need certain living conditions. For example, polar bears and lizards will not be able to live in similar biomes because of their characteristics and behaviors on survival. Lizards depend on the sun for energy and heat while polar bears retain heat with their fur to stay warm because sunlight differs in the polar ice caps. In addition, what is suitable for the polar bear will differ in what can be suitable for the lizard.
2. There are six abiotic factors that influence where organisms live such as water, light, temperature, pH, salinity, and wind. These factors can affect biomes and the diversity of plant and animal species. Furthermore, water is a key factor in determining where organisms live because, it is essential for survival. For example, in biomes where the water supply is low, plants will be very short or small. The most important abiotic factor that influences where organisms live are temperature. Temperature is the main factor of survival because, it regulates the body for suitable conditions and the environment will vary depending on it. For example, tropical rain forests have the most diversity of animal and plant species on the planet because, it is a warm and many animals have adapted to the environment. On the contrary, many animals and plants do not live in colder biomes such as the polar caps because, they are unable to regulate their body temperature. Also, warmer temperatures have a larger rain and moisture distribution than colder temperatures. Adding on, many plants and animals depend on a certain amount of water intake and precipitation for
