As explained above the interaction of biological (genetic) influences and socio-cultural factors may result in a specific trait. An example would be a genetic predisposition towards having close family bonds due to a history of proximity and shared struggle combined with the societal pressure to grow with strong bonds to family may result in being family-oriented. Being family-oriented may be a result of childhood experiences such as growing up with constant interaction with family members and emphasis on family bonding.
