My biggest pet peeve would have to be people who text and drive and follow too closely in traffic. Both of these can be made very obvious to those around you. Texting and driving can cause you to swerve to the wrong lane or oncoming traffic. When you follow someone too closely, you risk hitting them if they make a sudden turn or slow down unexpectedly. Some people don't find texting and driving a problem. I didn't until I got into my first car accident because of this. You realize how quickly things things can change and the danger it poses on yourself and others. One in four Americans are killed everyday in a motor vehicle accident caused from texting and driving.
