Bigfoot's Footprint

Improved Essays
When I think about Bigfoot, I picture an image leaving its’ impression on the world. To some, there hasn’t been concrete physical evidence of a real Bigfoot but, everyone knows of its’ story. It has created its own “footprint” in the minds of millions. This is the same objective I have and hope to keep in my life. I want to make an impact on people, a BIG impact. During high school I have made impacts by being involved in student council and serving as the Student Body President this current school year. I have faced challenges in my leadership, as it is a very thankless position but it has proven to be rewarding. I see students enjoying projects I have worked so hard on and it reminds me how important my footprint on my school really is.

It often amazes me that people have a difficult time with the concept that Bigfoot is a human hybrid. You honestly expect a humanoid creature that is over seven feet tall, covered in hair, that has abilities that are essentially supernatural, that possesses superhuman strength, that can live so close to civilization, yet remain almost completely hidden from man, and that possesses an extremely high intellect to have “normal” DNA!? I would expect it to have strange and unexplainable DNA consistent with the findings of the Sasquatch Genome Study. The following statements will disturb many in the “Bigfoot Research Community” and the general public at large.…

Dimitri Letsos Narrative Essay (Personal) It was a hot Sunday near the end of May of 2011, my brother and I were playing catch outside when my friend came over to hang out. We discussed what we should play, I thought that we should play a game called 500, which was where you threw the ball up in the air and if you caught it you would get a certain amount of points, until you reached 500. My brother was a more creative and thought of a game he called “Bigfoot” which I guess was a game where you chased the person who was “Bigfoot” and if you caught him you would become Bigfoot. I thought it was stupid so I said, “I think 500 is better, and someone’s going to get hurt.” My brother replied with, “Don’t be such a baby.”…

The Foot There are many body parts that look similar when examining the skeleton of humans and our closest living relatives. These similarities are important in understanding where humans, as a species, stand in the complex evolutionary world. Although the similarities are important, the differences are what make Homo sapiens the only habitually bipedal animal on earth. The subtle differences are what allow the species to travel so efficiently and use the other limbs to manipulate the world. The ability to interact with the world has allowed humans to grow culturally and anatomically.…
