Walking barefoot is a great way to reconnect back with “mother earth.” When you walk barefoot on the grass, beach, mud or soil, you not only physically connect with the earth, but you also improve your health. It’s like a reflexology and yoga session for your feet, all rolled into one.

An investigation into earthing (walking barefoot on the earth) found that earthing helps red blood cells decrease clumping, which decreases the viscosity of the blood, which in turn decreases the risk of heart attack. So it could be argued, that earthing helps thin the blood.

Staying flexible in both body and mind is very important for our overall wellbeing. At an absolute minimum level, stretching helps create better movement throughout the body. Flexibility is one of the four main components of fitness.

You will always feel better after stretching. Your body will thank you for it. The benefits are not just physical. I know when I stretch, I actually feel the energy flowing through my limbs. It feels life a cool waterfall flowing through my body. I know that’s the energy going to places in my body where it’s needed.

Regular stretching increases blood circulation, reduces injury risk, increases strength and endurance, relieves stress, helps with coordination, increases the elasticity of our muscles and feels really good. A nice statement to keep in mind is
