They basically just give the doctor the tools they need, help with the customers information, and just the basics of helping the doctor out. Going into the veterinary assistant field involves performing various tasks under the supervision of a veterinarian. These tasks include administering medications, keeping up with an animal’s hygiene, lab testing, and blood collection. The good thing about becoming a veterinarian assistant is that they don’t have to be as skilled as the veterinarian doctor is, and they also don’t have to do all the big jobs like the doctor
