Behaviorist Perspective Vs Behavioral Perspective

Throughout psychology, psychologist have always tried to figure out why people choose to do the things they do. While some psychologist think they know why, others believe differently. One question always asked is why people choose violent behaviors, and what triggers them to think that it's ok. Behavioral Perspective best explains the source to violent behavior. After looking at many case studies the behavioral perspective really stood out to me on the point where it was learned behavior over the years or already had a violent environment growing up in. Devin Moore and Joseph Hill are just two examples of learned behavior over the years, both grew up with a problem that later cause there violent behaviors.
The behaviorist perspective is a theory of psychology that states that human behaviors are learned, not innate (Psychology.com). The behaviorist perspective isn’t what's on the inside but furthermore learned by the environment the individual is in. B.F. Skinner is the most commonly known Psychologist for researching the behaviorist perspective. Skinner believed that it is simply more productive to study observable behavior rather than internal mental events (SimplyPsychology.com). A violent environment growing up can have a huge impact on individual, many may believe that if I grew up with my parents harassing me I can do the same. This behavior is then passed down.
