Becoming A Pediatric Nurse Personal Statement

Decent Essays
When I chose nursing as my profession I had imagined myself working as a pediatric nurse and it was the only area I aimed to work in. However, I have been exposed to various areas in nursing during my clinical rotations in Austin that I have loved every area concerning nursing care ranging from the operating room, to the neurology unit, emergency department and so forth. It was during my time in the emergency department that I felt it was where I desired to be the most. It was something about the stress of the situations, and having to accomplish tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible that made it wonderful for me to work in. I could blend both my desire to work with pediatric pateints and adults as well. The environment was vastly different
